Processing Technologies, Inc. (SPT) develops, manufactures and markets
a broad range of data converters. SPT is a subsidiary of Toko, Inc., a
worldwide supplier of electronic components and integrated circuits.
Challenge
SPT
is a market leader in data conversion and signal processing products,
yet has had very little brand image. Origins objective was to broaden
SPT's corporate identity
and marketshare through expansion of its brand and the creation of design
templates. This promotes consistent association of SPT's products with
its brand, making its products easily identifiable.
Strategy
Origin
began by positioning SPT as the solution to bringing the worlds of analog
and digital together, creating the tagline "Two worlds. One solution."
Origin then generated a series of concepts for icon treatments of the
existing SPT logo that would integrate seamlessly into all marketing materials.
Origin capitalized on the design treatments and positioning by creating
an advertising design template, leveraging a new sophisticated look-and-feel
and ensuring that all SPT ads would showcase a consistent company image.
Results
The
revitalized SPT look-and-feel has elevated the image of the company and
created the foundation for continued growth of the brand. The company
has enjoyed the design so much that they have integrated it into all corporate
communications, ensuring consistent branding inside and out.
