Randel Castleberry
Founder and CEO

After earning his B.A. in mathematics and physics from Whitman College and a B.S. in engineering and applied science from the California Institute of Technology, Randel found that he had a knack for bridging the gap between engineering and marketing. He held applications, product marketing, systems engineering and marketing positions at TRW LSI Products and Honeywell Signal Processing Technologies prior to founding Origin. His industry marketing experience includes product definition and promotions, technical communications, market research, advertising and public relations.

Randel’s an avid audiophile and he spends much of his spare time restoring his 1968 GTO.

Jil Goebel
Founder and COO

Jil earned her M.B.A. and B.B.A. from the University of San Diego and studied at the London School of Economics before embarking on her career in business-to-business marketing and public relations. She coordinated the marketing, public relations and communications activities for TRW LSI Products and Honeywell Signal Processing Technologies and has held marketing and account executive positions with agencies in Southern California and Colorado. In 1986, Jil and Randel combined their marketing and technical expertise to found Origin.

In addition to all of her work at Origin, Jil is a great mom.
